I Make Golf Easy is about giving the student a solid foundation of golf knowledge so they can become competent enough to play golf in a very short time.
That foundation is not what you might typically hear as the basics of golf to be; the grip, the stance, aiming and alignment.., but more about how the ball, the club, you and the course work as tools.
The Ball Bounces.
The Club Does the Work. Most people, even some low handicapped golfers compulsively attempt to lift the ball.
How you work. How you walk into a shot and where your attention is placed is more important to consistent results than your actual swing.
And of course, how to read a golf course, lies, grass, holes, distance (what club to use).
Golf is difficult enough without complicating it.
This approach concentrates more upon the knowledge which Kinesiology has proven, our bodies know how to move when using a tool and the golf ball, the club, we / us and the course are all tools to which we must understand to achieve the results we desire.
Once you learn how the tools work the mechanics take care of themselves.
Most of my students experience immediate results.
Most mechanical “faults” can attributed to tension created by either the ball and the never ending thoughts about the swing.
It doesn’t take much effort on your part, because you already know how to hit a ball with a stick toward a target.
We start off small.
With putting.
Then we go to chipping.
Then pitching.
The We learn about how to hit the ball with a more full swing.
Then finally driver.
Traditionally this approach is called working from the ground up because we start closest to the hole.
Think of it as college level 101 course.
